Frequently Asked Questions

What is Kynetic?

Kynetic is an adaptive training app for iPhone and Apple Watch, built for hybrid athletes. You add your races and training goals, Kynetic builds one plan for running, strength, and recovery around your current fitness, and each day it tells you what to do. Apple Watch readiness data (HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, and training load) is the evidence behind each daily call.

Can Kynetic build one training plan for running and strength?

Yes. Kynetic builds a single integrated plan that schedules runs, strength sessions, and lighter weeks together, so your lifting and running are not planned in separate apps that ignore each other. The starting point comes from your recent training history and fitness signals such as VO2 max, so experienced athletes do not get beginner programming.

Can I train for a race and other goals at the same time?

Yes. You can add races alongside strength, endurance, and body-composition goals, choose which one matters most, and Kynetic balances the plan around that priority while showing the tradeoffs. Race Day Mode counts down to your race and shows phase-based guidance for training, nutrition, and sleep as race day approaches.

How does Kynetic decide what I should do today?

Each day Kynetic compares the session your plan calls for with your recovery signals from Apple Watch: HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep against your own baseline, plus recent training strain. When recovery supports it, you train as planned. When it does not, today's call changes, for example to an easier session, and Kynetic explains why.

Does the plan change if my schedule changes?

Yes. If you are traveling, missing equipment, or your week changes, tell Coach what changed. Kynetic proposes an updated plan, you review it, and you apply it when you are ready.

Who is Kynetic for?

Kynetic is built for athletes who run, lift, train for events, or combine endurance and strength work, from a first 5K to triathlon training alongside strength. It is especially useful for hybrid athletes who want one plan and one view of recovery instead of several apps.

Does Kynetic require extra hardware?

No. Kynetic works with the Apple Watch and Apple Health data you already have, so you do not need a separate recovery strap or ring.

Is Kynetic free?

Kynetic is free to download on the App Store, and there is no hardware subscription. Some coaching and custom-plan features require Kynetic Premium.

Does Kynetic collect my health data?

Kynetic is designed around on-device health analysis, and no account is required. Your core health and training data stays on your iPhone unless you choose to use features that need outside processing, such as an AI request.
